Ukraine is a big European country. There are many purebred dogs. The best and most of them are combined by of Ukraine Kennel Union. UKU is full member of FCI.
UKU holds dog shows for all breeds (CAC, САСІВ), Special Shows and National Breed Championships. In Ukraine, there are around 100 dog shows every year.
There are two Main Shows in Ukraine. They are held in the capital of Ukraine – Kiev. In spring (aipril) – “Ukraine”, “Golden Gates” (2xCACIB). In winter (December) – “Cristal Cup Of Ukraine”, “Kivskaya Rus” (2xCACIB).
More than 3000 dogs are presented at these shows.
Competitors are best purebred dogs of Ukraine. Traditionally, many dogs from the near abroad come to these shows. It is Russia, Byelorussia, Moldova, Poland, Hungary. At last years, there are guests from far abroad. It is Israel, Great Britain, France, Germany, and Finland. Expertise is held by high quality judges. They are well known in the world.
In aipril 2009 vice-president FCI Karl Raisinger visited shows “Ukraine” and “Golden Gates”. He admitted high level of organization and high quality of dogs.
In 2008 and 2009 at Main Shows of Ukraine best of breed won Izmir Bright Destiny (owner Oberenko R., breeder Shuba E.), Sotakal Tieger (owner Ryabtseva V., breeder Istvan Lakatos).

Especially show in Dnepropetrovsk is notable. It gathers many purebred dogs. In the network of show there are many breed special shows, National Championships. The biggest is National Championship Of Molossoid Breeds.
The exhibitions in Dnepropetrovsk, traditionally, an international examination. She is represented by the judges, who judged the largest European, and World Show. This allows dogs, from all regions of Ukraine and from abroad, to obtain a rigorous and objectiveevaluation.

A large number of exhibitions in Ukraine (CAC and САСІВ), allows an estimate of the different judges. Exposure of dogs at shows, it is promoting the breed in the regions of Ukraine. Exhibitions - An excellent opportunity to travel. To see the huge number of historical sites and beautiful nature of Ukraine. Ability to communicate and stay in range of people, enthusiastic breeding purebred dogs.
